Customers may need to complain about a late order, damaged shipment, incorrect item, product quality, technical support, equipment service, invoice, account issue, return authorization, manufacturing concern, or another Avantor service. Before escalating, collect the account number, purchase order, Avantor or VWR catalog number, lot or serial number, invoice, delivery documentation, photographs, and all prior Customer Service case information.

Give the representative the customer account, purchase-order number, invoice, catalog number, quantity, and exact problem. Ask that the complaint be documented and obtain any case or reference number generated during the call.
If the dispute involves a specification, application, compatibility issue, certificate, documentation, or scientific product-performance question, contact 1-888-897-5463. Technical Product Support is better suited to product-level scientific questions than the general order team, particularly when resolution requires review of specifications or intended use.
For a product return, contact Customer Service before shipping anything back. Avantor specifically requires a Return Goods Authorization for accepted returns and warns customers not to send merchandise directly to the Radnor, Allentown, or other corporate offices without approval. Keep the RGA information and shipping tracking number for your records.
If ordinary Customer Service cannot resolve the issue, ask for a supervisor, sales representative, account manager, or relevant business-unit specialist. Provide the existing case number and explain what has already been attempted.
