Bombas
Bombas LLC is an American comfort-focused apparel company headquartered in New York City. The company is best known for its socks but has expanded into underwear, T-shirts, slippers, footwear and other everyday clothing essentials.
Bombas was founded in 2013 by David Heath and Randy Goldberg after they learned that socks were among the most requested clothing items at homeless shelters. They created a business model under which the company commits to donating an essential clothing item for each eligible item purchased.
The company gained national attention after appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2014. Bombas subsequently developed into a prominent direct-to-consumer apparel brand and expanded into wholesale partnerships and physical retail stores.
Jason LaRose became Bombas’ chief executive officer in May 2025. Co-founder David Heath transitioned from CEO to executive chairman, while co-founder Randy Goldberg continues to serve as chief brand officer. Bombas is privately held and has been a Certified B Corporation since December 2017.
