my spouse and myself go to store #3198 at least 5 times per week and there are never any hand held baskets. The mgr Stacey stated to us prev and again today 7.30.23 customers are taking them. Yes there are shopping carts however we do not need the small or larger size shopping carts. Yes Jewel is right across the street from where our home is but at this point it's just not worth the aggravation anymore. So you have a very short amt of time to tell me how you company plans on fixing this as we don't mind spending the amount of money in just one week at store 3198. We don't mind driving to another grocery store (that wont be jewel) that actually has hand held baskets that's 5 miles from our home. It's just not worth the aggravation any more. I shop at Jewel Osco at 5616 W. 159th St., Oak Forest store number 2363. I shop your five days out of seven. I shop for my parents who are both 98. I know everybody in every department I went Wednesday when the turkeys went on sale and I was told nothings over 24 pounds I said could you see if you have a 26 pounds no lady that’s as big as they are so I took a chance today and I went back and there were none over 22 pounds, so I asked the young guy is there anyway you could see if there’s one bigger he went in the back and brought out three cases of turkeys. He moved racks and things out of the way in the back room to find a 27 pound turkey and he did he was smiling and telling me it’s no problem , he’ll find it just have patience. I was so surprised with his smiles every time I’m there he’s so helpful is there somewhere he could be mentioned in one of your articles or your advertisements or whatever your promotions are his name is Ed and he works in the meat department he’s to be commended as an upstanding and great employee
I shop at the Jewel at 10203 w grand avenue in Franklin Park. Yesterday one of my items ended up leaking and checkout girl asked if i wanted to get a new one. I said yes and she told me I could go get it after checking out. I said you want me to go get it? She said yes. I asked if the bagger could get it. She gave me attitude and sent him only to bring back the wrong thing. He went back again and got the right thing. Why would she expect me to take my entire cart of groceries already paid for back to the deli to get a new item? Used to be automatic where the bagger would just go get it. Very poor customer service in my opinion.
