Due to some illnesses and a death in the family I have exhausted my UPT time available. I have an Ada form submitted for vertigo. I woke up Ill. I do not know if it was vertigo or influenza, covid etc. until I can go to the doctors on Friday 2/24. My current HR told me through a phone conversation that if I have the flu that I will be fired. Is this procedure correct?? There are no leave of absence or any thing available for illnesses. (I understand UPT is designed for this, but like I’ve said I’ve had some extreme unfortunate deaths and illnesses to deal with.
