About Frontier Communications

Frontier Communications was one of the largest pure-play fiber internet providers in the United States, serving millions of residential and business customers across 25 states with high-speed fiber broadband, home phone, and business connectivity solutions. Founded in 1935 in New Haven, Connecticut as Citizens Telephone Company, Frontier grew over nine decades through a series of major acquisitions — including the purchases of AT&T’s and Verizon’s wireline operations in multiple states — eventually becoming a major telecom challenger focused on its “Building Gigabit America” fiber expansion strategy. On January 20, 2026, Frontier Communications completed its acquisition by Verizon Communications Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at $20 billion, with Frontier shareholders receiving $38.50 per share. Frontier now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Verizon, having delisted from the Nasdaq Stock Exchange where it previously traded under the ticker symbol FYBR. Frontier had been headquartered in Dallas, Texas since relocating from Norwalk, Connecticut in 2023, and was led by President and CEO Nick Jeffery, who departed after the Verizon acquisition was completed.

How to Reach a Real Person at Frontier Communications

The fastest way to speak with a live Frontier representative is to call 1-800-921-8101 for residential customers or 1-800-921-8102 for business customers. These lines are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When the automated system answers, listen to the menu and press the number that best matches your inquiry — pressing 1 for internet, 2 for TV, or 3 for phone. To bypass the automated menu and reach a live agent directly, press 0 repeatedly or say “representative” when prompted. For the shortest wait times, calling on weekday mornings between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM ET typically yields the least hold time, as volumes build significantly midday and on weekends.

You can also reach Frontier support through online chat at frontier.com, which is often faster for billing questions, service outage updates, and account management. Frontier also allows customers to manage their accounts, troubleshoot service issues, and check outage status through the MyFrontier app, available on iOS and Android. Because Frontier is now a Verizon subsidiary as of January 2026, customers with service concerns may also access support resources through Verizon’s customer service channels at 1-800-837-4966.

Frontier Communications Headquarters & Corporate Office Address

Frontier Communications relocated its global corporate headquarters from Norwalk, Connecticut to Dallas, Texas in September 2023, establishing what the company called its “GigaHub” — a 95,000 square-foot state-of-the-art office in Uptown Dallas on McKinney Avenue. The GigaHub was designed as an innovation-forward workspace to house the CEO, executive leadership team, and hundreds of corporate employees supporting the company’s nationwide fiber buildout and its “Building Gigabit America” transformation agenda. The Dallas headquarters was chosen for its central location within Frontier’s national footprint and its access to top tech talent.

Following the completion of Verizon’s $20 billion acquisition of Frontier on January 20, 2026, Frontier now operates as a wholly owned Verizon subsidiary. Corporate governance, investor relations, and legal functions have transitioned to Verizon’s headquarters in New York City. Frontier’s Dallas GigaHub continues to serve as a key operational office for the combined fiber business.

How to File a Complaint Against Frontier Communications

Step 1 — Contact Customer Service Directly
Call Frontier’s 24/7 residential customer service line at 1-800-921-8101 (or 1-800-921-8102 for business customers). Clearly describe your complaint, provide your account information, and ask the representative to formally log the issue and provide a case reference number. Most billing errors, service outage credits, and equipment problems are resolved at this stage.

Step 2 — Request Escalation to a Supervisor
If the first representative cannot resolve your complaint, immediately ask to be transferred to a supervisor or the Customer Retention team. Supervisors have greater authority to issue credits, escalate service tickets, waive fees, and authorize remedies that frontline agents cannot approve. Document the supervisor’s name and any commitments made during the call.

Step 3 — Email or Submit a Written Complaint
For a written record of your complaint, email support@frontier.com with your full name, account number, service address, a description of the issue, all previous contacts made, and the resolution you are requesting.

Step 4 — Contact the Corporate Office Directly
If your complaint remains unresolved, call Frontier’s Dallas headquarters at (972) 410-2800 or write a formal complaint letter to Frontier Communications, 1919 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75201. Document all previous resolution attempts and attach copies of relevant bills, communications, or evidence.

Step 5 — File a Complaint With the FCC
File a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov. The FCC accepts complaints from broadband internet and telephone service customers and requires the company to respond to your complaint. For internet service issues, the FCC’s Broadband Consumer Portal is the most appropriate channel.

Step 6 — Contact Your State Public Utilities Commission
Each state has a Public Utilities Commission or Public Service Commission that regulates telecommunications providers. Filing a complaint with your state PUC is one of the most effective regulatory tools — your state PUC can open a formal investigation, order service credits, and require the company to correct systemic issues.

Step 7 — File a BBB Complaint
File a public complaint with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org. Frontier Communications is registered with the BBB and a public complaint filing typically prompts a faster corporate response within 14 days.
