On Friday evening approximately 6 PM at your Westheimer and Kirkwood store, as I was entering the Vodka section an elderly gentleman stopped me and said be careful of water on the floor. He said he had already slipped and fell. I could tell he was telling the truth because his shorts and shirt were wet from head to toe. I told him thank you and hope he was allright. I grabbed my purchase and as I was exiting the Vodka section there were 3 employees talking and laughing loudly. I approached them to tell them that someone fell in some standing water. They were talking so loudly that I could not speak over them but as they disbanded, I was able to tell the older male employee with glasses, but he turned his head and ignored me and went to ask another customer if they needed help. I was shocked and appalled at his behavior. I met up with the gentleman at checkout and told him to inform a manager.
He said he would and I paid for my purchase and left the store. This was unacceptable behavior from your employees and they should be reprimanded. Instead of visiting in a grouo amongst themselves, they should have been patrolling their areas for pontentiial liability issues.The poor gentleman that fell should not have had to experience such a traumatic situation by falling nor I from the noncaring and negligent attitude from your employees.
