Cadence Bank
Cadence Bank
Cadence Bank was a major regional banking institution serving consumers, businesses, corporations, and wealth-management clients across Texas and the southern United States. The modern Cadence franchise was shaped by the 2021 merger of legacy BancorpSouth Bank and legacy Cadence Bank, which created a larger regional bank with major operations in both Tupelo, Mississippi and Houston, Texas. Before its final acquisition, Cadence offered checking and savings accounts, mortgages, consumer loans, credit cards, commercial banking, treasury management, equipment finance, wealth management, private banking, trust services, foreign exchange, and specialized lending.
By the end of 2025, Cadence had approximately $54 billion in assets, $37 billion in loans, and $44 billion in deposits. It had developed a strong branch network throughout Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, and other Southern markets. Its customer-focused model emphasized local banking teams, community relationships, and a mix of consumer and commercial financial services.
Cadence Bank is no longer a standalone legal bank. Huntington Bancshares Incorporated completed its acquisition of Cadence Bank effective February 1, 2026, after which Cadence merged into The Huntington National Bank, with Huntington National Bank surviving. Former Cadence accounts and services were later converted to Huntington systems, and former Cadence branches reopened under the Huntington Bank name on June 22, 2026. As a result, the current HeadquarterLocation page should clearly explain that Cadence’s former Houston and Tupelo headquarters are historical rather than current standalone corporate headquarters.
Cadence Bank no longer has an independent corporate headquarters because the legal bank was merged into The Huntington National Bank on February 1, 2026.

Tupelo, MS 38804

Because Cadence Bank has completed its transition into Huntington, customers should no longer look for a separate Cadence corporate department as the primary escalation route. Former Cadence customers can begin with 888-797-7711, which Huntington continues to publish for questions about transitioned accounts and services. Customers can also call 800-480-2265 for broader Huntington banking support. Have your account number, name, identification details, recent transaction information, and any transition communications ready before calling.
For business accounts, contact your existing Relationship Manager whenever possible. Treasury Management users can call 800-329-0289. Wealth-management customers should continue working with their assigned adviser or banker, since many former Cadence local teams remained in place during the conversion.
For branch-specific issues, visiting the former Cadence location, now branded Huntington, is often the most efficient option. Former Cadence branches closed under the old name after June 18, 2026 and reopened as Huntington on June 22, 2026, so the current branch network should be searched through Huntington rather than Cadence.
Because Cadence Bank has been merged into The Huntington National Bank, complaints concerning former Cadence accounts should now be directed to Huntington. Customers should gather their account number, statements, loan documents, transaction dates, branch details, correspondence, screenshots, and previous case numbers before escalating.
Call 888-797-7711 for former Cadence account-transition concerns or 800-480-2265 for general Huntington banking assistance. Explain the problem clearly and provide the account type, transaction date, amount, and any previous branch or representative contact. Ask that the complaint be formally documented and request a reference number for future follow-up.
Use the department connected to the issue. Treasury Management customers can use 800-329-0289, while mortgage, wealth, card, fraud, and loan-servicing concerns should be routed to the appropriate Huntington team. Specialized departments often have access to records and authorities that general Customer Service does not.
If the first representative cannot resolve the complaint, ask for a supervisor, branch manager, relationship manager, or specialized servicing manager. Provide the previous case number and explain what resolution was offered and why the matter remains unresolved. Keep the names of the representatives and dates of every conversation.
Submit the complaint through Huntington’s secure messaging or other official written banking-support channel so there is a documented record. Include only the minimum sensitive information necessary and never send passwords or one-time security codes through unsecured email. Attach statements or supporting documents when the secure channel permits.
Serious unresolved corporate correspondence can be sent to
Huntington Bancshares Incorporated
Huntington Center
41 South High Street
Columbus, OH 43287
Include copies of supporting evidence and prior complaint-reference numbers.
For credit-card disputes, ACH issues, debit-card fraud, mortgage servicing, loan servicing, or wealth-related issues, use the specialized dispute process identified in the relevant account agreement or statement. These processes can have strict deadlines, particularly for billing errors, unauthorized electronic transactions, and mortgage disputes.
Banking complaints can be submitted to the regulator responsible for The Huntington National Bank, depending on the issue. National banks are generally supervised by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, while certain consumer-financial matters may also fall under the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Mortgage complaints can also involve state regulators where applicable.
Customers may submit qualifying consumer-financial complaints through the CFPB and can contact the appropriate state Attorney General or banking regulator for state-specific issues. Payment-card disputes can also be raised through card-network or account dispute procedures. Keep all statements, correspondence, and evidence showing the steps already taken with Huntington.
If the dispute remains unresolved, review the governing deposit, credit-card, lending, mortgage, or investment agreement for arbitration, court, notice, and limitation provisions. Banking contracts vary significantly, so customers should follow the specific dispute clause applying to their product and consider qualified legal advice for substantial financial claims.
