I worked for Pilot 1 day and I had no training in the maintenance area. I had 3 minutes left on my shift, upon walking up to the cashier counter to get ready to clock out, a girl coming in on shift says did you do the trash in deli, well I know nothing about the deli, all I was shown was bathrooms showers and all the over filled trash cans that was not done on the shift before me. I told her I knew nothing about the deli. Her comment to me was do your job and complete your shift. I am soaking wet after working by myself 8 hrs no training etc… I said how you get anything done by talking to people like this. She had no clue of my struggles with 1 man doing all the outside chores and expected to keep showers clean non stop, bathrooms. In no way at a busy truck stop is this a 1 man job. Very poor management and no one is supportive in any area. I’ve hurt my back trying to lift the over filled trash bags. What a nightmare for a part time job. They tried to kill me I think.
