To whom it may concern,
I am a military veteran of 14 years and still going strong while serving in the Air Force Reserve. I applied for a truck driving job back in 05/23/2023. I spoke with a gentleman named Robert Lewis who is apparently one of your military liaisons. He asked me what I wanted to do and I told him since I drive trucks I wanted to drive trucks for your company in Tampa, FL. since I have a FL Class A CDL with all endorsements (T,X) and gave him all the necessary paperwork. He never called me up since that day for any updates. I sent him a follow up email asking him what was going on with my file and to please give me an update. He finally called me back and told me that my file was sent to a gentlemen named Jeff who is their Director in Safety for “Approval”. After this email and phone conversation I never heard back from Mr. Lewis for quite a while. I sent him another email on 07/18/2023 asking for any updates that he may have concerning that driving position, but to no avail, I am still awaiting a response from him. If they don’t have any jobs available, I just ask him to let me know they filled it rather than not say anything at all. In my mind, this is NOT how you treat military members especially veterans who sacrifice their lives for our country, to promise you a job and just not communicate with us on anything. If I did this in the military, I would be counseled and terminated. Thank you very much for reading.
