Tiffany & Co. (colloquially known as Tiffany’s) is an American luxury jewellery and speciality retailer headquartered in New York City. The company is known for its fine jewellery, packaged in the trademarked Tiffany Blue Box, but also puts its name on silverware, timepieces, china, stationery, and other luxury items. Tiffany’s business model is based on three primary products: jewellery collections, designer jewellery, and engagement jewellery. The company sells its goods exclusively through more than 320 Tiffany & Co. stores and boutiques, its websites, business-to-business accounts, wholesale distribution, and catalogues. Customers outside the US account for over 60% of sales. Tiffany accepted a $16.2 billion acquisition offer from LVMH in 2019.
