  • Never before have I been treated so horribly by any customer service. For the last 3 days I have been trying to resolve a problem and I gave been given 3 days and as many hours of the runaround, and a home visit by a tech which solved nothing. Optimum agents are rude. One was especially deplorable with inappropriate remarks. My issue began 8/9, and I won't see a tech until 8/16. Also agents are difficult to understand, and cannot speak slowly and clearly when asked. Ask me for detailed conversations.

  • I wanted to reach out to your company so what happened to my family dosnt have to happen to anyone else. We were a customer of Sudden Link / Optimum for over a decade almost 15 years. We called customer service to arrange for a service call as we were having connectivity issues, the day came and the service man never showed. The next day I called and asked to speak to a manager on call so I could make a complaint about the no show. The manager I was dealing with was bathe rudest of all public service I believe I have ever encountered in my entire life! As I was explaining to him about the service call that never happened his concern for the inconvenience that I went through to be at my home that day waiting was of NONE. Theirs manager said that according to the notes the service person supposedly did come out but didn’t get out of his car and knock on our door! Although both of our vehicles were in our yard he still didn’t get out and knock on our door! UNBELIEVABLE!! I mentioned to the manager that I was very upset about the waste of time and was considering disconnecting our service, he was unfazed at any thing I said was not sympathetic and his fake apology was insulting. I told him I wanted to file a complaint and requested a call from someone in regards to this waste of my day in how the service person preformed his call, the manager told me he could only send a email to corporate if I reschedule the service call. It was then that I knew I would disconnect our services from your company as soon as something else was available in my area.
    Well we have now moved to another company and the level of kindness and professionalism from this company is beyond belief! We were treated like real customers and not one time did they ever not show when they were scheduled too. We have all new equipment and the picture is so much clearer.
    The very next day after having cancelled our service your company called our phone offering us new equipment ( in which was denied in our previous call trying to figure out why we were having so many problems, ours was almost 15 years old) we were told we would have to purchase the new equipment if we got any, and they also offered us a discounted rate. I mean it’s pretty sad that you aren’t important to your company until you lose your customers. You won’t find our account under my name or number it was in my husbands but I just wanted you to know

  • Just started with this service November 1, 2023 and here we are December 2023 and I am having problems. First my bill was $99.00 with added "Home Entertainment" which I did not order. Secondly, after speaking to someone at your Company I was told I can get "home service " for $20...now when I called about my I was told my home us $34.95 and Internet $14.99...this is false advertisement to the highest degree...seriously thinking about going to another Company...this is unacceptable being a Senior on a fixed income.

  • Optimum is the worst company we have ever dealt with! Their installation department is a bunch of flakes! Over several months we called to have their cable line moved as it was coming up to the surface in our yard under a large tree. We wanted to cut down the tree but can't until the cable line is relocated. Several workers have shown up, did a few things then left...didn't come back! We had to call again and again 9 times total to get some one to 'FINISH" the job! Called Monday week of Thanksgiving no one showed up again! No call no nothing!!!
