• I rarely ever go to C - Town for obvious reasons and today my parents went in there to grab something quick and was awful when it came to your prices. I was shocked and disgusted . Many many items are beyond over blown prices . I bought 2 bags of bananas to make pasteles, a small jar of sweet red peppers, aluminum foil, 1 yuca, 2 pigeon peas, and pork shoulder $13.and change n it came out to $54.and change. Disgusting . I believe not because of many stores are high but not this high. A gallon of water $1.69 wow, a tiny head of lettuce $4.49 really? That’s just for starters . I know demographic area prices are higher and that’s disgusting . It’s a Latin store and we are suppose to help each other in our community not bankrupt our pockets ?. How in the world with anyone are able to use it on WIC or SNAP ion reality aren't not getting much , and SS ? C-Toen should be called Uptown like Manhatten prices . Walmart gallon of water $1.16 , bananas .59 a lb many times .49 a lb , I shop every where and compare prices and you come in at second , first is Stop n shop. You get no incentives , your stores keep creeping prices like many wouldn’t notice but my parents n I do.. corporate greed is disgusting and NOT for the Latin family and communities .

• Problem finding Krasdale tissues.
  Ave C store ran out of them in Manhattan.
  All they have are other tissue brands and they are
  much more expensive.

• I will contact authorities regarding C-Town La Placita in Peekskill. The are stealing your money, these cashiers are always new, and they don't know or have the correct codes so they click anything and you get charged DOUBLE!!! I had 3 items in one experience. On 3/27/23. They are thieves!!!

• The Ctown located at 98-02 Jamaica Ave, Queens, NY always has expired food. Cheese, frozen foods, milk, produce, so many things are constantly expired sometimes weeks past the expiration date. I've already wrote a review on Google. Also, staff poorly communicates how sale items with a minimum purchase works. Today, cashier Cindy denied my son a purchase because he had to spend $35 to purchase mayonnaise at $4 99. Reg price for Mayonnaise is 11.29. A rip off!!!!! I went there and purchased the mayonnaise at reg price because I needed it. And I damn sure wasn't going to spend $35 just to get mayonnaise for $5. Management acted clueless and didn't apologize.
  Overpriced is an understatement.
