HYATT
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is one of the world’s leading multinational hospitality companies, offering a portfolio of more than 20 premier hotel and resort brands across luxury, lifestyle, upper-upscale, and select-service segments. Founded in 1957 when entrepreneur Jay Pritzker purchased the Hyatt House Motel near Los Angeles International Airport, Hyatt has grown from a single airport hotel into a global hospitality giant operating more than 1,350 properties across 80+ countries and six continents. The company is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol H and is headquartered at 150 North Riverside Plaza in Chicago, Illinois — a state-of-the-art 260,000 square-foot riverside campus situated along the Chicago River in the vibrant West Loop neighborhood. Hyatt is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Hoplamazian, who has helmed the company since 2006, making 2025 the ninth consecutive year that Hyatt led the hotel industry in net rooms growth. Hyatt’s global loyalty program, World of Hyatt, ended Q1 2026 with approximately 66 million members — representing 18% year-over-year growth — while the company posted systemwide RevPAR growth of 5.4% in Q1 2026, exceeding expectations driven by luxury and leisure demand.

The fastest way to speak with a live Hyatt representative for reservations or guest services is to call 1-800-233-1234. This line is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When the automated system answers, listen to the menu and press 1 for new reservations, 2 for existing reservations, or 3 for World of Hyatt loyalty account inquiries. To bypass the menu and reach a live agent, press 0 at any point or say “representative” clearly when prompted. For the shortest wait times, calling during early morning hours before 8:00 AM CT typically results in the least hold time, as call volumes build significantly during midday and evening hours.
For post-stay complaints and property feedback, the most effective written route is to submit a feedback form at hyatt.com/contact-hyatt/share-feedback-on-a-recent-stay, which routes your complaint directly to the property and to Hyatt’s corporate guest relations team. You can also email hyattconcierge@hyatt.com for concierge-level service requests and post-stay concerns. World of Hyatt Globalist members — the highest loyalty tier — receive dedicated concierge services and priority response, and should reference their Globalist status when contacting Hyatt for any escalated concern.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation relocated its global headquarters to 150 North Riverside Plaza in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood in 2018, consolidating approximately 1,000 corporate colleagues from two separate buildings into a single 260,000 square-foot state-of-the-art workplace along the Chicago River. The West Loop campus — part of the broader Riverside Plaza development — was designed by architecture firm Gensler to encourage collaboration and creativity, featuring open-plan work areas, modern amenity spaces, and views of the Chicago River. The building also houses Hyatt’s executive leadership, global brand management, technology, legal, finance, and corporate strategy functions.

In addition to its Chicago headquarters, Hyatt maintains regional offices globally including Coral Gables, Florida; Omaha, Nebraska; Paris, France; Shanghai, China; and East Melbourne, Australia to support its growing international portfolio. Step 1 — Speak With the Hotel General Manager
The most effective first step for any in-stay complaint is to speak directly with the hotel’s General Manager or Director of Rooms at the property where your issue occurred. Hyatt General Managers are fully empowered to issue room upgrades, waive charges, provide complimentary services, and otherwise resolve guest experience issues on the spot. Resolving complaints during your stay produces the fastest outcome and avoids the longer post-visit follow-up process.
Step 2 — Submit Post-Stay Feedback Online
After your stay, submit a formal complaint through Hyatt’s official feedback portal at hyatt.com/contact-hyatt/share-feedback-on-a-recent-stay. Select “Service Feedback” for complaints about services or “Stay Feedback” for property-related issues. Provide your confirmation number, stay dates, hotel name, and a detailed description of your complaint. Hyatt’s guest relations team will review and respond, typically within 5 to 7 business days.
Step 3 — Call Customer Service
Call 1-800-233-1234 or the corporate customer service line at 1-800-228-9000 and ask to speak with the Guest Relations or Resolutions team. Have your confirmation number, stay dates, hotel name, and all details of your complaint ready. Ask the representative to formally log your complaint and provide a case reference number.
Step 4 — Email the Corporate Guest Relations Team
Email hyattconcierge@hyatt.com with your full name, World of Hyatt membership number (if applicable), confirmation number, hotel name and location, stay dates, a detailed description of your complaint, and any supporting photos or documentation.
Step 5 — Contact the Corporate Office Directly
If your complaint remains unresolved after the steps above, call Hyatt’s corporate headquarters at 1-312-750-1234 or write a formal complaint letter to Hyatt Hotels Corporation, 150 North Riverside Plaza, 8th Floor, Chicago, Illinois 60606, Attn: Guest Relations. Include all previous resolution attempts, supporting evidence, and the specific outcome you are requesting.
Step 6 — Contact the AHLA
Contact the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) at ahla.com or by emailing memberservices@ahla.com. The AHLA is a trade advocacy organization that can provide guidance on consumer rights related to hotel stays.
Step 7 — File a BBB Complaint
File a public complaint with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org. Hyatt Hotels Corporation is registered with the BBB and a public complaint filing typically prompts a faster corporate response within 14 days.
