Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort is one of the largest destination entertainment resorts in the United States. Located in Orlando, Florida, the resort combines theme parks, hotels, restaurants, retail, live entertainment, seasonal events, vacation packages, and immersive attractions based on major entertainment franchises. Universal Studios Florida opened in 1990, and the resort has expanded substantially since then into a multi-day destination.
Today, Universal Orlando includes Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, and Universal Epic Universe, as well as Universal CityWalk and a large hotel portfolio. Epic Universe officially opened in May 2025 and added five major immersive worlds, more than 50 experiences, and a substantial new resort footprint. By 2026, Universal Orlando described itself as a destination with four theme parks and 11 resort hotels.
Universal Orlando operates within Universal Destinations & Experiences, the theme-park and destination division of Comcast NBCUniversal. The division was renamed from Universal Parks & Resorts in 2023 to reflect its expansion beyond conventional theme parks. Mark Woodbury serves as Chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, which employs more than 46,000 team members across the United States.

Universal Studios Florida is the original Orlando theme park and features attractions, shows, dining, and entertainment based on movies, television, animation, and popular franchises. Its experiences are regularly updated to reflect new Universal and partner intellectual property.
Islands of Adventure focuses on immersive themed lands and major rides. The park includes highly themed areas associated with franchises such as Jurassic Park, Marvel, Dr. Seuss, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Epic Universe opened in May 2025 and includes Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic. The park contains more than 50 attractions, entertainment, dining, and retail experiences.
Volcano Bay is Universal Orlando’s water theme park. It combines water slides, pools, relaxation areas, family attractions, dining, and tropical-themed environments.
Universal CityWalk is the resort’s entertainment, dining, shopping, and nightlife complex. Guests can visit CityWalk independently of regular theme-park admission, although individual venues and experiences may have their own pricing or requirements.
Universal Orlando sells single-day and multi-day park tickets. Ticket combinations can provide admission to multiple parks depending on the product purchased, and prices vary according to travel date and package configuration.
Universal Orlando offers Annual Pass products for frequent visitors. Benefits can vary by pass tier and may include admission privileges, selected discounts, parking benefits, and access to passholder offers.
Universal Express products provide expedited access to participating attractions. Availability and included attractions vary by park, date, hotel benefits, and ticket type.
Universal sells vacation packages combining theme-park admission with hotel stays and other travel components. Current vacation and ticketing assistance is available through the dedicated vacation-package contact center.
Universal Orlando currently includes 11 resort hotels, ranging from value and family-oriented properties to premium hotels. Epic Universe’s development added new lodging capacity, including Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
The resort provides dining and character-breakfast reservation services for participating restaurants and experiences. Restaurants operate throughout the theme parks, hotels, and CityWalk.
Universal Orlando hosts major seasonal programs such as Halloween Horror Nights, Mardi Gras, Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, and other limited-time experiences. Event admission requirements vary depending on the program.
Universal Orlando provides facilities and services for corporate meetings, conventions, group travel, youth programs, weddings, and special events. Hotels, theme parks, and entertainment spaces can be incorporated into group programs.
The official mobile app provides park maps, attraction information, wait times, ticket and account functions, dining options, and other trip-management tools.
Universal Orlando uses a dedicated Lost and Found process, supported by a third-party lost-item platform. Guests submit item details online and can contact Guest Services when additional assistance is required.

For most guest concerns, the best first call is 407-224-4233 or toll-free 877-589-4783. These lines are intended for Guest Services questions and are currently staffed from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time, seven days a week. For general information, 407-363-8000 is also available. If the issue is about a hotel reservation, vacation package, dining reservation, or Annual Pass, using the dedicated number for that service is likely to produce a faster response.
Have your ticket order number, hotel confirmation, Annual Pass information, transaction date, attraction or venue name, visit date, and any prior case information available. If the issue occurred inside a park or hotel and you are still on property, visiting Guest Services or speaking with a supervisor at the affected location may resolve the concern faster than contacting corporate offices after your trip.
For written support, Universal Orlando currently publishes GuestServices@UniversalOrlando.com and an online contact form. Email is particularly useful when you need to attach detailed information or want a written record of your request.
Complaints may involve tickets, attractions, hotel stays, accessibility, Annual Pass billing, food service, employee interactions, vacation packages, lost property, refunds, or safety concerns. Before escalating, keep ticket receipts, booking confirmations, photographs, hotel folios, attraction details, dates, and previous case numbers.
Call Universal Orlando Guest Services at 407-224-4233 or 877-589-4783. Explain the issue clearly, including your visit date, park or hotel, ticket or confirmation number, and what resolution you are seeking. Ask the representative to document the complaint and provide a case number if available.
Use the specialized department when appropriate. Hotel reservations can use 888-273-1311, vacation packages and tickets 877-801-9720, dining 407-224-3663, and Passholder Services 888-5-FLEXPAY. A department that controls the transaction will usually have greater authority to review the specific issue.
If the first representative cannot resolve the concern, request supervisor review. For an in-park or hotel complaint, speak with Guest Services, the attraction supervisor, restaurant manager, front-office manager, or hotel leadership before leaving the property when practical.
Submit the complaint through Universal Orlando’s online email form or email GuestServices@UniversalOrlando.com. Include the exact date, ticket or hotel information, previous case history, names of employees where relevant, and the outcome you are seeking.
For a serious unresolved matter, send correspondence to Universal Orlando Resort, 1000 Universal Studios Plaza, Orlando, FL 32819-7610. Include copies of supporting documents rather than originals and provide enough information for the company to locate the underlying reservation or transaction.
Accessibility, payment-plan, lost-property, privacy, vacation-package, and hotel disputes should be routed through the specialized support process responsible for the issue. This is particularly important when a third-party hotel operator, payment processor, travel provider, or lost-property vendor is involved.
The appropriate regulator depends on the complaint. Accessibility matters can involve disability-rights authorities, safety matters may involve local or state agencies, and consumer complaints can fall under Florida consumer-protection jurisdiction. Hotel or food-related complaints may have additional local regulatory channels.
If the dispute involves an unresolved charge, cancellation, or duplicate transaction, the guest may contact their card issuer or payment provider after making a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter with Universal. Florida consumer-protection channels may also be appropriate for certain unresolved commercial disputes.
For significant disputes, review the Terms of Service that applied to the purchase or online service. Universal’s current Terms cover Universal Orlando Resort and related Universal entities and may contain provisions concerning disputes, governing law, and other legal rights. Preserve all booking records and correspondence before considering formal proceedings.
